The Rotary E‑Club of Central Texas continues to make a meaningful impact at Miguel F. Martinez Elementary School in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico—an international service partnership that began on Earth Day 2024 with the installation of a Peace Pole and butterfly garden funded through a DAP Grant.
Since that first project, club members have remained committed to supporting students and teachers throughout the school year. The E‑Club delivered school supplies to help launch the academic year, provided new library books to a 6th‑grade classroom during Literacy Month, and installed new playground equipment in the spring to encourage outdoor play and physical activity.
Most recently, in July, the club awarded Rotary trophies to the top three academically ranked 6th‑grade students, celebrating their hard work and achievement.
This ongoing collaboration reflects Rotary’s dedication to education, peacebuilding, and community service. Members of the Rotary E‑Club of Central Texas look forward to continuing their relationship with Miguel F. Martinez Elementary—creating lasting connections with students and ensuring teachers have the resources they need to help every child thrive.
