Our Club Foundation
 Rotary E Club of Central Texas - USA- (RESCUSA)
What the Fund is:
 
The RESCUSA Foundation is a n501(c)3 charitable organization that provides support to community programs and Global Grants.
 
RESCUSA is  separate from The Rotary Foundation and is the non profit foundation for Rotary E-Club of Central Texas.  Members may donate to the RESCUSA foundation and designate the funds for a service project locally or internationally.  According to the bylaws "A donor my request in writing that part or all of his donation be directed to a specific charity, a cause or a specific project eligible for a Foundation grant.  All such requests shall be considered by the Board of Trustees and attempts should be made to honor all reasonable requests consistent with the Articles of Formation and the Bylaws of the Foundation".
 
  • The funding objectives of RESCUSA are to provide support for service projects of the Rotary E-Club of Central Texas including: 
  • EAFK at Pecan Springs Elementary School in Austin
  • Giving away Virginia Pine Seedlings to support the environment.      
  • Meals on Wheels -  Delivering meals to homebound adults
  • Pecan Springs Elementary School – Literacy, youth development and butterfly garden
  • Rotary Youth Leadership Award – encouraging high school students to develop their leadership and life skills
  • Rotary Youth Exchange – providing an opportunity for high school students to study abroad in a country of their choice
  • Four Way Test Speech contest for high school students in the Austin area and internationally.
  • Schools in Nepal – sanitation, clean water.
  • Ethiopia – water wells promoting a healthy community
  • Guatemala Clinic – providing basic medical equipment; beds, printers, generator, software & ambulance equipment
  • Rotaplast – helping children with cleft palates, burn scarring and other deformities
  • Other service projects proposed by members of the Rotary E-Club of Central Texas.  Members may donate and request funding for service projects.
